Professor Lim Tock Han, Senior Consultant, National Healthcare Group Eye Institute at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, is also Adjunct Professor of Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technology University, Singapore; Clinical Associate Professor of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore; and Visiting Professor of Universiti Kembangsaan Malaysia. He is the Founding President of the College of Ophthalmologists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He founded the Fundus Image Reading Centre (FIRC), the reading centre for the EVEREST studies. He sits on the steering committee of EVEREST I and II studies. He is currently also the Deputy Group CEO (Education and Research) of National Healthcare Group, Singapore.
Professor Lim sits on a number of Singapore national committees including the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) and Clinical Trials Implementation Committee (CTIC), Ministry of Health. He is a board member of Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI) and Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI). He is also the chair of the Residency Advisory Committee (RAC), and Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB), Ministry of Health, Singapore. He chairs the research committee of National Healthcare Group, Singapore, and sits on the steering committees of Skin Research Institute of Singapore (SRIS) and Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore (RRIS).
