Thank you very much for your continuing support of our OOB-accredited CPE programmes.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, we have paused CPE programmes and we will resume them when it is safe and feasible to do so.
Since 2018, a minimum of 40 points for opticians and 50 points for optometrists over a 2-year period have been made compulsory by OOB before one’s practising licence can be renewed. We want to ensure that primary eye care professionals will have more opportunities and options to learn and maintain their level of competence for licence renewal. In this regard, if you have any idea and suggestion for CPE lecture topics or to improve the current system, please drop us a note at our email address email@example.com. If you are an optometrist who is keen to share your knowledge with your fellow colleagues, please let us know too.
Lastly, all OOB-approved CPE organisers who wish to put up their programmes for online registrations on this portal can also contact me at the same email address.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do NOT book repeat lectures for the SAME participant as OOB does not award CPE points for repeat lectures by the same speaker. Any lecture after 1 October 2016 that is repeated in the same qualifying period will be denoted “REPEAT“. Repeat lectures are meant for participants who have not attended the first lecture because of schedule conflict or limited seat capacity.
